Q: Why am I asked to enter a password to open the PDF Files? A: The PDF files do not need a password to open them. This error happens if you are using an out of date PDF Reader. To fix the problem, please update your PDF Reader to the latest version. Q: I can't open your pdf files with Adobe Acrobat. A: Over the years people have had many problems with Adobe Acrobat. I use Foxit PDF Reader which is FREE. Foxit is a small download and very quick to open a file. It is not a slow, cumbersome resource hog like Adobe Reader is! Download here.
Q: Do I have to have a PayPal account to purchase from you? A: No you don't! When you go through the checkout process, you will see the following text and link when you are at the PayPal login page. Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue Click on the 'Continue' link. You will then be prompted to enter your credit card details in the form provided. Q: I don't know where to download the charts I purchased. A: Follow the steps below. Login to your account. Click on the My Account Link. On this page you will see a list of your previous orders. Your latest order will be at the top of this list. Click the View button. On the next page you will see a Download button for each chart you purchased. Q: I paid with an eCheque, the charts I purchased are not in my account. A: eCheques take between 5 to 7 working days to clear. When your eCheque has cleared you will receive an email notifying you that your charts have been placed in your account and are now ready to download. Q: I get an error when I try to open one of your charts in Adobe Acrobat. A: The Acrobat PDF reader is known to have lots of issues. Check that you are running the latest version of Acrobat. If you are running the latest version of Acrobat PDF reader and are still having problems opening and printing our charts, then we suggest you try Foxit PDF reader. This is a small free program, runs very fast and never seems to cause problems opening PDF files. We have a link to the Foxit PDF reader on the home page. Q: Do I have to create an account at this web site to download the free charts? A: No. You only need to join our Yahoo group to download the free charts. Q: Do you accept other methods of payment like Bank Cheques or Money Orders? A: No. The only method of payment we accept is through PayPal. Q: Can I order your charts as hard copies? A: No. Our charts are only available electronically by downloading the PDF files from your account on this website.. Q: I have stitched a few of your charts. Can I sell my finished work? A: Yes. Q: I have never pieced together a chart this large. How do I know what page goes where? A: Please download Acacia Crafts Pattern Instructions.pdf file. Q: I am a member of your Yahoo free charts group. Could you send me a chart of my choice if I promise to send you a scan when I finish stitching the chart? A: Unfortunately no. We used to do this and 99% of the people didn't send us back the scan. Now you must first complete one of our free charts before you can choose any chart you would like from the website with our compliments. Q: Are your charts designed to be worked on a sewing machine? A: No. Our charts are designed to be stitched by hand. Q: I would rather use a different thread than DMC. Will your charts stitch up as nicely using a different brand of thread? A: We cannot guarantee they will. The charts are designed using DMC threads. We strongly recommend you use DMC thread to stitch our charts. Often the suggested alternate thread colour is not even close to the original DMC thread colour. Q: Can I contact you regarding digitized embroidery I would like to sell to you? A: No. Please do not contact us if you want to sell us anything. We regard these emails as SPAM. We do not appreciate that kind of email at all!
